NOW THE LIVE STREAM FOOTAGE OF THAT CHURCH SERVICE SHOWS THE MOMENT POLICE SAY BERNARD POLITE POINTED A GUN AT PASTOR GLEN, GERMANY, PULLED THE TRIGGER, BUT THE GUN JAMMED. MOMENTS LATER, POLITE WAS TACKLED BY CLARENCE MCALLISTER, A CHURCH DEACON WHO WAS ALSO RUNNING THAT LIVE STREAM ONCE THEY RAISED THE GUN UP, I JUMPED UP, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN? FROM BEHIND GOT HIM FROM BEHIND. STRUGGLED THEM DOWN TO THE GROUND. PASTOR GLEN, HE CAME AND HE SAYS, I HAVE THIS UNDER CONTROL NOW. SO ONCE HE HAD THE GUY PINNED DOWN THE UNDER CONTROL, I TOOK THE GUN OFF HIM AND EVERYTHING WENT ACCORDING TO THE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT, BERNARD POLITE CONFESSED TO POLICE THAT HE TRIED TO SHOOT GERMANY BECAUSE, QUOTE, GOD TOLD HIM TO DO IT. LATER THAT EVENING, 56 YEAR OLD DERRICK POLITE, WHO POLICE SAY IS A RELATIVE OF BERNARD POLITE, WAS FOUND SHOT TO DEATH INSIDE BERNARD'S HOME. OFFICERS WITH THE EASTERN REGIONAL AND VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE ON DUTY AT THAT POINT, BUT THAT PART OF THE INVESTIGATION IS NOW BEING HANDLED BY ALLEGHENY COUNTY POLICE. HOMICIDE DETECTIVES.
